Can you find solace in looking up at the night sky?

I find my very soul out there in the stars...

I find solace, for when I look deep into the sky, I look deep into space and time and I see the same stars that all others have seen throughout the ages, and I know I am part of this amazing journey, this unfolding saga, this ongoing story.

I've heard it said that seeing the stars makes one feel very small and insignificant, and times there were when I have felt this too. However, mostly I feel very significant, very fortunate... to know that I was granted the chance to be here and look up at those stars, and to feel so very much connected to this world.

No one will ever look through these eyes of mine, yet all look upon the same world, the same stars, with the same eyes.

I find solace in knowing my love is underneath the same moon looking at those very same stars. -- Bender
